Tired of hearing your kids say “fine” when you ask how was their day? Or “nothing” when you ask what happened at school?

On April 30th, students at BHS and Hunt will be
inspired by Kevin Brooks tragic and powerful story
during school assemblies. Parents and caregivers are
invited to a FREE OPEN PRESENTATION that
evening to hear what your children learned and how
to talk to them about it.

KEVIN’S STORY: Fueled by a deadly combination
of alcohol and that “it will never happen to me
attitude”, Kevin drove away from a party intoxicated
and speeding with a friend beside him. His story
about how a tragic crash left him paralyzed from the
chest down will focus on:
• Impaired, distracted and dangerous driving
• Suicide prevention, self harm and depression
• Bullying, relationships, forgiveness
• Decision making and peer pressure
