During the months of Nov-Jan. the Burlington Partnership for a Healthy Community will be working to connect area smokers to the tools and resources available through the VT Quit Network to quit smoking.
Mon-Friday from 9-10:30 a.m. for 3-4 weeks our staff and volunteers will make resources available to low-income residents seeking resources from the Joint Urban Ministry Project, Inc. at the First Congregational Church in Burlington.
Connect with our Project Coordinator, Ryan Mitofsky if you would like to help out and volunteer at JUMP in the mornings with us. You must be at least 18 years old and currently a non-smoker.

Author of the New York Times best selling book Beautiful Boy — David Swill speak about his son Nic’s downward spiral into drug addiction and the impact it had on his family. David will also address the research he is doing on new developments in prescription drug addiction and new forms of prevention and treatment. In addition, the evening will consist of a panel moderated by Mitch Barron with David Sheff, Pediatrician Fred Holmes and two recovering prescription drug addicts.
